Masters Nationals June 6-8 2008
Moraga , California

 

OMBAC will be taking two 20+ teams to Masters Nationals (A team and B team) and one 30+ team. Team rosters will be finalized and posted by May 1, 2008.

 

If you would like to compete in Masters Nationals you must:

- Pay the $25 tournament registration fee online at www.ombacwaterpolo.com. By March 31st.

- Be an active OMBAC member (meaning you pay your monthly dues!)
- Be registered with USA Water Polo (www.usawaterpolo.com)

- Email Sandy Onweller at (sandra.onweller.ctr@navy.mil) with your name and cap # preferences.

 

For 20+ we will be taking an A and a B team.  We are competing to win this tournament.

If you would like to be considered for the 20+ "A" team (10 players), you will need to meet the following additional requirements:

-You must attend 50% of OMBAC practices (one practice a week) during April and May
-You must play in the OMBAC tournament in Coronado May 23-25 (this will be an excellent opportunity to play together before Masters)

 

 

ADDITIONAL COSTS AND OTHER INFORMATION:

 

Airfare: You are responsible for getting yourself to Nor Cal. Some of us are flying into Oakland via Southwest Airlines on June 05 flight 1732 at 7:50pm and returning to SD on June 08 flight 197 at 8:45 pm. Approximately $110

Hotel: Embassy Suites with 4 girls to a room @ $35 per person/per night. If you would like to make other arrangements for hotel room, please contact Kerry Peterson at Kerry.Peterson@cardinalhealth.com - otherwise you will be slotted into a room with 3 other girls :)

Tournament Registration and Car Rental: Your $25 tournament registration fee will be put towards the tournament registration fees.  OMBAC will cover the rest of the tournament registration fees.  OMBAC would also like to try to cover the cost of the rental vans, this will depend on the amount of money we are able to fundraise before the big weekend.

Spending Money - I guess that all depends on how much you eat, how much you like to shop, and how much you plan on drinking! Let me remind you that this tournament is not for party. We are going to take gold in this one Ladies!
